Absolute Vodka

I think it was early last year. After work, had my dinner, showered, and discovered that there isn’t much to do. So I guess its time to play with my camera before either one of us rot. haha.

Spanish Cuisine

This tapas buffet is different from the usual buffet. You have to order what you want and they’ll make it for you instead of having an array of food stalls.

This is the menu.

La Tasca Menu

We are allowed to order a maximum of 8 dishes each time.

La Tasca Restaurant - Tapas

So here we have Calamares a la Andaluza (deep-fried rings of squid served with roasted garlic mayonnaise and lemon – on the left front), Berenjenas Gratinadas (Fresh aubergine, topped with cheese and tomato – centre front), Pescado Bianco Frito (White fish, deep fried in beer batter- right front), Chorizo Frito al Vino (Spicy Spanish sausage, sauteed in red wine) and the further three were toasted bread topped with garlic & fresh tomato, some fried potatos and Spanish omelette.

I love the fried squid, fish in beer batter and the Spanish sausage.

La Tasca Restaurant

The restaurant decor is quite nice too.

To all Spanish Cuisine lovers, you should give it a try if you haven’t tried it yet.

Tapas anyone?

Anybody fancy some Spanish cuisine? Went to La Tasca near Leicester Square last weekend. They were having a tapas buffet for ten quid (£10). Eat all you can it says…

Too many things, yet so little time

Posted by Chee Wei On May - 19 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

I am sure most of you have encountered situations when you have so many things to do in such a short time. I could easily write a huge list of to-do task, but let’s just not go there.

Anyway, if you are in the same situation as me here is the temporary cure. Screammmm all you can like the photo below :)

New Toys

I am sure most of you out there love new gadgets especially us, guys.
Anyway, I just got myself a Sennheiser earphones couple of weeks ago. These earphones are supposed to sit inside your ears and it is able to cancel off 90% of the noise. Its pretty useful when you want to listen pure music without background noise disturbance.

Sennheiser Earphones

Well, not too sure if you guys noticed that I was using a macro lens for the these two photos. I borrowed a Nikkor 105mm f2.8 VR Macro from my colleague to test it with my new Nikon D300. The results seems pretty good.

Yes you read me right, I finally upgraded to a Nikon D300. Enjoy :)

It was to stop

Posted by Chee Wei On May - 15 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Its late spring now which means its gonna be summer next month. We are getting more daylight and sun doesn’t set until like 9 in the evening. It’ll get later as we are getting nearer to June and the longest day of the year will be in that month itself.

So I was out late one night, waited for a bus outside Waterloo Underground Station so I can get to Canada Water Station.

Late night at a bus stop

After a long wait, a bus No.188 was coming towards my direction. The next moment…

A bus just left

It didn’t stop at all. Just imagine from “waving for the bus to stop” to “waving goodbye”.

A place that I miss most

Posted by Chee Wei On May - 13 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Can you guys guess where is this? I am sure if you look carefully you will definitely know where this is.

This photo was taken awhile ago when I had an outing with my friend. I don’t normally bring my camera around these places and even if my camera was with me, I would still leave it in my bag as the area isn’t too safe to do that. (Correct me if I am wrong)

Kuala Lumpur Skyscrapers

However, when I saw the amazing reflection on the windows of the buildings I just couldn’t help it.

Here are some more photos of the Cans Festival held in Leake Street, London. There are still a lot more photos waiting to be posted, so it should take awhile before I am able to post everything.

So here is a weird tree in the middle of a car bonnet.

Let’s go closer to see what’s on the tree. CCTV?!

Do you think the tree grows from there or was it planted by the artist?
