It didn’t take us too long to get to our hotel from the National Theatre Station, with the help of friendly locals. The great thing in Oslo is that the locals speak good English having learned it in school.
Oslo City Center, good weather, good food, friendly locals. As with most Scandinavian countries, the people here adopt a laid back lifestyle and can be seen chilling at the parks or cafes watching the world go by.
A day travel pass gives you access to trains, trams and some of the more unique forms of transportation such as the bus or boat.

This is the Opera House of Oslo, beside the coast. These stairs are actually on the roof of the Opera House. A slip on the way down could send one tumbling into the water!

This is how to make full use of glass windows. If you look straight into the window, your reflection looks back at you. However, if you look from a side angle, you get a duplicate reflection which is a pretty cool effect! Needless to say, we had some fun with these ourselves!
